Is my tranny messed up for good or is there any solution?
OK so i got a 97 ls rebuilt tranny and i got someone to install it ok so i drove the car and wasnt aware that there was no oil in the tranny. the only thing i noticed was this sound that i do not know how to describe well i drove my 95 ls like that for about 3 day until the third day while on the high way the noise got louder and then the 5th gear shift popped out. I thought it me who had done it but when i popped it in again it popped out a couple of minutes later. then my car started to slow down and i heard grinning so i right away knew that it was the transmission after that i was able to move the car to the side but then it completely stopped and i started to see smoke come out. I got the car towed and then yesterday i flushed the oil out ( dont know if i did it correctly) but i got the oil out the i took out another screw but with a alum wrench and noticed a bunch of pieces of metals. Does this mean that my transmission is messed up? So i ended up changing the oil and ended up putting 10w30 like the guy at kragen said. when i came home i looked up the tranny fluids and i read that i am suppose to get it from the honda dealership. today I drove my car but i still here this whistling alike sound. is it because i didnt use the correct oil or because the tranny is just messed up for good? Should i go buy the right oil and put that one instead? If someone knows how or got a site on how to switch the oil correctly i would gladly appreciate it. Im need of help.

Damn Tito!!! WTF!!! You just got your car and its already messing up? take it to the dealership you bought it at and tell them what the Fu*k! You should have taken it like jiffy lube or something, but the thing is they don't carry Honda Transmission fluid. You have to buy it from the dealership. Its gonna cost you like $30 for the fluid, but its worth it...
