i currently have a 2.25" 5zigen fireball cat back exhaust... it is axle back with a cheapo 2.25 mid section...

my question is... if i buy an Apexi N1 axle back muffler which was on a GSR will it..

A) fit my car at all since it's for a GSR and i have an LS?
B) fit my car but require a different midsection since they are two different sizes?
C) bolt right up to my existing midsection?


i'm kinda lost on this one...thanx

 

an axleback is not model dependent. the "mid-section" is the pipe that changes from different models...but if you have one that fits your car already any axleback for a G3 integra should in theory bolt right up to it. just make sure the bolts on the flanges are in the same locations....

 

oh ok, so it's just the mid section that is different between the LS and GSR.... but since i have a mid section, the axle back muff should bolt right up....?

ok, and since my midsection is 2.25" and the axle back is 2.5" i probably have to change my midsection to a 2.5"?.

that would be ideal, or get a flange welded in that increases the diameter so that you dont have a big bottleneck.

 

ok thanx a lot.... i needed a definite answer on this because i am probably going to buy advancxgsr's Apexi axle back muff. but he has a gsr and i have an ls... just wanted to make sure it would fit... wouldn't want to get it all the way here only for it not to fit

 

as far as I know what I said is true....

but forgot one thing, make sure they are both for 2 doors or both for 4 doors.
