my brakes were squeaking like no other for a little less than a week now...so i sed [freak] it...i'm changing my pads and rotors...I changed em with some roto - tech high performance rotors...drilled and slitted...so far, i love em...changed my pads with some hawk hps performance pads....love those as well...how long do people say u should change your pads? is it like ever 5000 miles or somethin?

 

I usually just wait until I hear the squeak indicators, then I know for sure its time to change them

 

There's no magical number when pads should be changed. Usually the warning indicator clip will squeak and let you know when its time to change them again. But I do check mine every oil change just to be sure.
