Would an SI Camshaft fit into a D15B1 without modification? It's for my little brother who just got his first car. 89 STD Hatch. Couldn't find any information on it, Just the B2 Camshaft swap. (My brother's question don't flame me. )

 

B1 is 16 valve, correct? If so, have at it, you'll just have to worry about the cam gear.

 

Yup, 16 Valve. Anyother input on this?
