that should solve all of your problems
Also.. check the comarison between-
OBD1 (94-95) GS-R's

OBD2 (96+) GS-R's
Pretty interesting how much OBD 2 sucks!

My theory is thats why they detuned the ECu because it would have been really close in the straights. Not the twisties thow, the other theory is just obd2 being real restrictive.
Theory 2 is correct
The same is true about most of honda's other cars, although not many maintained the same body style from the OBD1-OBD2 change over.
My friend's 99 Civic SI is slower than my 94 del sol VTEC. One factor is the weight, but still... u can just feel that lack of power by OBD2

Yea when I put my 0bd11 ECU in the car feels conservative, vtec does not pull as hard and isn't as loud, the motor screams more with my 0bd1 ECU,The car just feels like it has more ***** with that ECU,I feel it runs the car the way it was suppose to run.
No difference they share the same ECU,the 96 and 97 tegs have 0bd2 but it isn't as bad as the 98+tegs.The 96 97 respond to mods almost just as good as the 94 and 95.As well as producing good stock figures.
15.3 for a 2000 GS-R on Carstats. I ran a 14.89 with I/H/E -
OBD1 vs OBD2 is getting old. Doesn't make a noticeable difference when they're stock. You need to start Modifying the car to feel the difference. OBD1 usually gives a little better gain than OBD2 since its not as restrictive.
I personally have no problem beating the older GS-R's...

that site if off, according to it the 95gsr has a 0-60 of 6.5 and the 98 ITR's is 6.6 then it says the 1/4 mile for the gsr is 15.2 (not true) and the type R's is 15.1 (not true) so in my conclusion that site is whack
I always heard that stock GSR is 15.7 and stock ITR is 14.8, now that all depends on the driver and the conditions.

my friends best was a 14.99 with just an intake.....he has run a few 15.0's and every runs is usually a 15.1 or 15.2......he only hits high 15's if something goes wrong. He isnt an experience racer either. He did this a month after he got his first standard car.
http://WWW.car-stats.com has the 95 GSR running low 15.3 and the 2000 15.7 misinformation 0bd1 is stronger in stock and modified.
You guys can keep saying there not stronger but until you pop a 95 ECU and feel instant 5whp or so you'll keep denying it.Car and driver posted a 15.1 in there 95 issue,I've also seen other mags that tested them with better times,as well as a few dyno comparisons,96 and 97 were not as bad as the 98+ tegs because 0bd2 was revised in 98.Watch when I get my car dynoed with the 98 ECu and the 95 that will proof, but then you guys will probobly still deny it.But the times at car-stats I think are a little off,but low 15's is what the 94 95 GSR's were running back then.
