Default 89 si hatchback needin some TLC

i found what im thinkin is a pretty good deal i got a 89 civic hatch si for $450 bux from a kid in kissimme........the car has been beat the wiring has many many probs ive never seen so many spliced wires in my life its all riced out theres like little blue lights everywhere all the interior is totally shot the kid sanded it down and painted it in white and black texture paint and redid the si seats in the same color leather.....so im on the hunt for new interior and im gonna replace all the wiring.....

Thats an easy project, nothing looks hard. keep the seats like that. Fix wiring, dash door panels, lights, tail lights and thats it. Id say you got a pretty decent car.

U can see the over spray marks on the dash, The kid just sprayed everything in the car and didnt tape anything?.

It will never seize to amaze me what some people to do there cars.

Nice find tho should be a nice cars with a interior, and those alltezzas in a garbage can.

thats what im lookin for interior and yes the altezzas are gonna be one of the first things thrown away............

ewph. well, you can't argue with anyone who's saying you got a good deal. besides that, the inside is easy to get back up to par. I always wanted to do something along the lines of front buckets though..and just say tha hell with the rear seats. The si rears are dope though..especially with those head rests. Sick.

the interior is totaly destroyed it was sanded down and spray painted with white texture paint it looks horrible then he tried to make it look back stock again so he sprayed all of it black so i tore all of it out exept for the dash and im just tryin to clean everything up for now........

just like half the wires i pulled out of the car there is still many more and i picked up a new harness for under dash seeing that the other one is hacked all to hell because i guess there was an alarm in the car at one time.......

for $450 ill pass on that headache. good luck fixing all the wiring, looks like a rats nest!

okay i tore the dash out redid all the wiring i got a 91 crx si dash/cluster and bezel
what harness do i use? the 89 si under dash harness or the one i took from the 91 crx si what is the diffrence between the two......... how do i make this work right

u still got them amp wires?how long is it?or even connectors for the wires will work.
