On Sunday night I was victim of a hit and run, and now need to replace my rear bumper. If I had to find one, have it shipped and painted for cheap where could I start looking?

also is there any cheaper alternatives that are "body kit style" worth looking at? I tried searching and looked through the classifieds.

sounds like in the long term, it's probably not worth a claim. Post a WTB on this site and S2ki (gay version of this) - you never know your luck. As for OEM copies, no idea apart form ebay

depends on policy - 500 deducted straight away, then it depends on how your insurer penalises you (loss of no claims discount, or down a tier etc.), then each consecutive year, you are behind by a years worth of discount until you reach the max again.

 

would an ap2 bumper bolt straight up on an ap1?

i checked http://www.bumperauto.com and they have no listings for 2000-2003 but they do for 04-

Yes with a little work on the splash guards.
