Default Brake Lights Stay On

I have a 1990 Honda Accord. My brake lights will not go off unless I remove the fuse from the fuse box. Anybody have any suggestions as to what could possibly be the problem? Does this sound like something major or is a fairly easy fix? Please help and thank you for any suggestions.

Brake light switch?

Check the pedal if you follow it's arm you should see a small push button switch thing.

It might be jammed.

to add to ^ the switch is adjustable.
Some years of Honda have a rubber plug to act as a bumper where the switch plunger meets the pedal arm; if it falls out the plunger goes thru the hole in the pedal arm.

There is a small plastic button looking thing that goes right behind the brake pedal. It might still be somewhere on you floor in the car (mine was) just pop it back in and it will work. if not the honda part number is 46505-SA5-000
