I am looking to buy a Honda..... Job change....... More driving........ Anyway I was talking with a gal who had an 93 Accord 4cly. auto..... she said the best mileage she could get was 25MPG...... I asked about the last tune-up .... but she sold it ... end of discussion.
What is typical mileage? I wonder if I should be looking at Civics?

Depends on how you drive. '92 Honda Accord LX, 170k, auto, gets average 30 mpg mixed. Needs a tune up, or else it would do better.

My Volvo 740 non-turbo gets 25. But its dry weight is also 2900 pounds.

get 25~28mpg depends how hard i drive it
if i'm easy on gas I shold able to get 30mpg

So is there a big difference between the Accord and Civic? In MPG? The Accord has to be more comfortable, right?
