They did Miami Vice. Now it's Magnum's turn.

F430??
Unless you go with the 308 again. Which back then was the Ferrari out at the time. Mid mounted V8 platform. So todays Mid mounted V8 would be the F430.

Selleck don't want to do it cause Magnum is a classic now. It's hard to re-create the magic. BUT Selleck would still be perfect. Sean Connery played Bond 007 again at age 60+. So Select can still do it. The story would be perfect. His little daughter is now age 20+. They can cast any smokin hottie for that part. She is kidnap by the Viets - bcause they hate Magnum for getting one of their top generals (remember Magnum's wife was suppose to be a spy, and killed). Viets are on a friendly visit to the U.S. to end the bitter "cold war" dispute by being more open to the west. But the real purpose was to get Magnum.

TC, Rick and Higgins are all still alive. I know Higgins may be too old, but they can cast any old guy for that part if need be.

I would be more concerned of who would be cast as Magnum as opposed to what kind of car Magnum drives.
For many years whenever a Magnum PI remake was discussed, I'd say that MMA fighter Don Frye should be Magnum.
