Default JDM 16s Need Gravel Guards/Mud Guards?

Ok, so I installed the JDMs with the 215/45/16 Azenis. They really expose more tire beyond the fenders and I was wondering how many of you folks put OEM guards on to protect your paint. I have nice paint and don't want to mess it up. What do you think?

I have always run the OEM mud flaps along with the JDM 16's.

I took mine off when I lowered my car, but I'm thinking about putting them back on for this issue, Richard did your car not come with them?

No Jon, they were not on the car when I bought it. That reminds me, my son has a 98 CW ITR and I think he took his off. They should fit right? Maybe he'll give them to me!

Ha! He's pretty **** about keeping all his OEM parts. I'll try to shame him into giving them to me for all the work I've done on his car. Wish me luck!

Looks like they cost about $56 for the set. Maybe I'll just buy them new and save Ryan the stress.

We determined they were on my bro's old Si. I think he's going to get them anyway. Such a clean freak.

They cause drag and slow your car down. Fuel economy drops by 2 mpg. When I first read this I called , but took them off my gen 1 'teggy and damn if mileage didn't jump 2 mpg. And I think the car looked better.
