Default 88 tranny onto d16z6

Sorry if this had been asked before, I did a search and everything came up b16. Anyway...I'm swaping in a D16z6 into my 88 hatch. I was wondering if my stock tranny will bolt up until I can buy an Si tranny. I have been told that some people have had experience where it worked but also I have heard from other it will not. Which is correct?

'88s has a different spline count. You can only use the 88 clutch setup for it to work.

you can use a 88. thats what im runing. just get a 90-91crx flywheel, 90-91crx pressure plate, and a 86-89 accord disc, this will give you the 212 mm clutch instead of the puny 200mm 88 clutch
