Default Tired of getting beat up the road...

I have lowering springs on my 95 civic sedan and the slightest bump practicaly sends me through the roof. I understand this is normal with the springs but there has to be a better way.

So my question is if I cut my stock springs to drop my car the same way, will it ride more smoothly then with the aftermarket lowering springs?

Nope. Never will. Your better off with lowering springs and some better shocks. Maybe your shocks are blown.

so i have a 91 DA and i have cut springs, i didn't do it, the prevous owner did. i agree with this guy, don't cut them. my front end does a nose drive ever time i hit a bump. i can't wait until i can afford new springs and shocks, but do some research some brands are more bouncy.

Don't use race application springs on the street. The street versions are safer, handle better, and ride better on the street.
