can anybody tell me if the f-series bolt ons will fit each other like the intake manifold off of a f22 would fit a f23? i cant find **** about this engine

 

Hey bud I had an F23 and I know what its like finding info...... A lot of f22 and H23 parts will fit but I'm not sure all which ones. Do you need a manifold because I have a port matched manifold and tb combo for sale.

 

you have to be much more specific. Which F22? It makes a difference.

 

f22a i/m will not fit an f23. The f22a ports are wider, more oval. air would be slamming into a wall at the cylinder head port. It would physically bolt up if you ground the corner off where your vtec solenoid is, but not a good idea

 

o well im just tryin to get some uprgades im parting together a turbo but i want to know some interchangeable parts because i cant find **** for the f23 n theres no write ups on here at all. and im still stuck on turbo or tryin to slap on the h22 head. im not sure if i would really get gains out of the head.....

 

Or you could swap an f22a head on there, thats what I just did to my f23. It's a bolt on affair and you get a better flowing head, with no vtec (more cam options), and the bonus is the f22a head will accept a stock or aftermarket DSM turbo manifold if the holes are re-drilled.

IIRC, OE F23 intake manifold is best for boost applications due to the larger volume of the plenum and runners.

By the sounds of it, someone needs to do much more reasearch before swapping heads or boosting anything.
