last night i was driving in da freeway den all of a sudden mah right bumper light came off... it broke basically so i took it out... so then i taped tha wire so it wouldnt hang on da ground while drivin... next thing u kno it its hanging n broke the bulbs n wen dat happened mah cluster light, and tail light went out.. meanin it wouldnt light up anymore... anyonee got ideas what happened here?

 

anybody!? i really need to get this fixed... i work at night n stuff n my tail light n cluster isnt workinggg.. it turns on wen im braking,put my hazards on, turn left n right but thats bout it.. other than that its off all the time

when i turn on my lights... only my head lights are lighting up.. the rear tail lights wont light up but if i press on the brake thats the only time my tail light lights up n my cluster isnt lighting up as well when i turn on my lights... so wats da problem here?

 

if i didnt know better sounds like your TAIL LIGHT / INSTRUMENT LIGHT / LICENSE LIGHT fuse is busted.

 

nooo its not... bcoz if it was then it wouldnt light up wen im pressin on da brakes or alarm it... they would all light up... its just wen i turn the left **** to turn on the lights... only head lights would work.. taillight, cluster, bumper light wouldnt work.. but if im signaling they would work fine,.....

at least check the fuses before you make an assumption.

 

okay how do i do that...? im not really good with cars das why... so please someone tell me step by step wat do wit da fuse n everything

The bulb was hanging or the entire light housing? What car do you have?

 

first it was tha bumper light not my headlights... n den i took it off coz it was broken already... den the bulb started hanging on the floor n it popped... after dat my cluster light went off and so as my tail lights...but my headlights are still working\

its a 1994 acura integra.. 2door

i know how its installed in... its just that none of my lights are working cept the headlights.. when i twist the **** to turn on my lights.. its just my head lights workin everything else isnt...

 

look under your steering wheel to the left towards the bottom and you will see a little panel that you can pull off. that is where your fuse box is. attached to that panel is the diagram for where each fuse goes. look for the taillight fuse. its a 10A i believe.

 

Yea, samething happened to me on the light situation. It's most likely a blown fuse.

 

you blew the fuse that the other guy sed, insturment and tail light i did the same exact thing. break lights r still gona work. stop askin for a magical answer and chang that fuse thats how to fix ur problem

 

you blew a fuse, your wires must have touched, thats the only explication why everything went out.

True. How the hell does it just fall out, butif your broke and your still going to be driving like that after you replace the fuse, tape all your wires if ripped or anything like that. And buy a head light , dont drive until you do so. Too many accidents as it is.

 

im going to agree with everyone else, check the fuses.........its happened to me before and it was a blown fuse.
