Default Car stolen. Again.

good news is, 2 guys were caught just before entering Long Island by authorities, bc they were in the wrong lane. F!!CK theives.
as the story goes, this is the second time an integra was stolen from me. some of you may recall the horrific photos of the previous.
current car is reported complete and i am en route to pick it up. thank god.
security included alarm, removable steering wheel, early warning lo-jack, and happened to be parked outside overnight for once. never again.
the alarm didnt sound, lo jack never called me, and the theives broke the hub and used vice grips to drive the vehicle.
and, it just so happens that the car was bought from long island, too...
thanks for looking.

Good thing they found it before it got stripped/ruined. Does your lojack/alarm have any sort of theft warranty on them?

teg is home safe, ignition is expletived, but i escaped with scratches this time. wondering how he got past the starter kill and pryed off the removable hub lock.

the thief managed to leave behind his cell phone... i have his name, all his buddies names, and his mother's phone number... if anyone else is interested as well.

use that cell phone to lure him and his friends in...then call me up, ill bring all my buddies and well f*ck them up with wooden sticks, metal pipes, and using good old fashion knuckles, elbows, knees and feet...

thatll teach them never to try to steal sh*t again...

they actually do that in third world type of countries and coutries from south america. If they catch the thieves on the street, and they are known to be thieves, they literally just beat the sh*t out of them with whatever they can find...they end up apologizing and being good people after that point

id give out his name but that may be crossing the line here in h-t
its a 718 area code, how he ended up all the way here in my small town who knows
he'll probably be in jail for a while, cosidering grand theft auto charges, as well as evading police and assault on a police officer with a moving vehicle because he almost took out a bike cop

there really wasnt any damage besides busted windows and a broken ignition... imagine the housing broken off the column, and the ignition wires separated from the housing

the steering wheel wasnt in the car, hence why he used vice grips.

Was your kill switch a switch for the starter signal? Or was it cutting the ecu? If it was for the starter then they might have just push started it to get it going.

This is why i don't and you should not put starter kills on the 5 speeds. All the theif is going to do is push start your car like he did on yours. Read the cause for alarm in the a/v/s section of h-t

Please don't.....you'd be causing the board/ admins a lot of trouble if an incident happened in relation to having the guy's info being given out

But if you're just joking about it Then...

I was going to do the samething when we caught the last guy in my car and he was taking away by the cops with a couple of love bumps. You can not post any information till after his trial is done and conviction is set. If not its slander. Once convicted its all public information. This is words from my attonery. Taken this is from ca. Also you have to be preppared from the out come of it if you do. You have no ideal who his friends are or who he knows. Or how far they will take it. Hell i bet they might be on here. They know were you live. You don't have that info on any of his friends or friends. So you might be out in public and not know your staring death in the face. I not saying how big the ***** are or how ra ra you are. Just something to think about.

Any reason as to why your alarm and lo-jack didnt get set off? More info we have on how they stopped your alarm means more info on ways we can reinforce our alarms.

And congrats on gettin ur car back man. Hate thieves, they are the reason I sleep with one eye open :\

not sure how they got past the alarm, they bypassed the starter kill obviously, and lo jack called the previous owner even though i had already forwarded my new information. and as far as removable steering wheels go, they dont do anything. the thief pryed off the lock and used the vice grips to drive.
for reference, a well secured garage and an ingenius fuel cut off is the only way to go from now on.

True...and as you have stated, you have to be prepared for the possible outcomes of giving that info out. It's not just reprisal that should be a huge concern. If anyone is smart enough, they'll hurt you where it hurts the most......your wallet.
