after getting the car i pulled the motor to clean it up, clean the bay up a bit . i had tp to a powerstearing delete and remove cruise control. i did a minor wire tuck.. just the headlight harneses. here are some pics of the progress.

got the bay all taken apart and nearly everything removed. long process of cleaning sanding and prepping. also sanded and primed the fenders door and bumpers

then after a **** load of sanding and prepping the car here is primer

before any bashing is put out there about not taking out the brake booster and such this painjob for just the bay was to make it look better. i didint want it perfect for the bay but the rest of the car will be perfect. this is why i went with a single stage paint for the bay. now that is primed there is more sanding and prepping then a fresh coat of paint!
this is the first coat and you will either love or hate the color. its a light brighter in the pics than in in person.

rota92 ran 11.95 with 280whp.

Did he sand the rough spots out on the pistons before installation. Just wondering because they look a little rough. GL with the build tho.
