hey everyone, i was thinkin about trying to start a meet in the king of prussa area, maybe weekly ?

 

Heh, we should do it in the Hooters Parking lot on Rt 202. I'd be down.

 

I've been waiting for someone to start a H/A meet around here. I'd come some weeks but probably not near every week. Maybe it'd be a better idea to start a meet on the 1st and 3rd weeks of each month til people start coming.

 

the meet that used to happen every tues or thurs night got broken up by the pigs, so probably stupid to try it again, and youd have to get permission from the hooters management, but i wouldnt have problems goin to eat there...go to WCU

 

Well, does anyone know if the cops would care if we hung out on the unfinished section of 23?

 

I'd be willing to come to a KOP meet once in a while after work or whatever.

 

You'd have to ask the cops. lol

I can't see that they could have a problem as long as we have permission from the property owners and don't act like ******** (race,play loud music, burnout).

Actually, I know that vw guys hold a weekly meet in the Damon's parking area at Park City on mondays. Have been for a while now. It would be a good location for the york/lancaster/reading people but would be quite far from philly.

york is roughly a 2 hr drive or so from kop. I live in york, go to school at WCU but youd have to talk to management at different places

That hooters was torn down a couple of months ago. You can go to the lot but there's no building there anymore. lol

 

I know VW guys meet up the first sat night of every month under I-95 in south philly, Near penns landing area.

 

Well crap, I guess its still a decent lot though. Then we wouldn't have to ask managment for permission.

Yea, then you would have to ask the property owner for permission. which is probably harder to get ahold of.

 

What about valley forge park?

 

I don't know how easy going the rangers are gonna be when a bunch of F&F cars roll in just to hang out. Those guys are ********* there.

As long as no one acts like a bunch of ricers there will be no problem. I've been to bbq meets there with no problems. They treat you by the way you act. If you act like a ******** that's how you will be treated.
