what would you like to see in it?

2. spark plug reading help
3. vtec and iab specs
4. valve clearance specs
5. vtec light instructions

etc..

brainstorm... and jot it down.... help me make a list..

 

Are we talking just maintenance stuff, or general info? I'd say include model specs/differences between LS/GS-R/Type-R for quick ref. (like spring rates, engine specs...I dunno...), maybe all those pictures that keep popping up like how the PCV valve works, where the maint. req. light button is, etc.

parts compatability (what you can bolt on from one model of integra to another, ex: parts from a GSR onto an LS, ITR parts on other Integras...like that a ITR intake manifold wont fit a GSR, a part explaining ITR rear sway bar info and part numbers including links to BSQ's and Beaks page) a part explaining the exhaust piping differences between different years and models, ex: GSR exhaust is different from 94-99 than the RS-GS-LS-ITR models...but in 00-01 they are all the same. just some ideas since i see a million questions about that stuff.

Advancing Timing instructions....

common problems with G2&G3 Integras (synchros, cam seal, squeeks, a-pipe rattle, etc.)

ABS problem codes...the ones the ABS computer throws (not listed on the web very commonly)

Different tranny gear ratios and explaining that S80-Y80 doesnt mean crap

Rundown of the chassis codes for all integras and models including RSX

...just some ideas, it'd be nice to have it all in one place

 

A FAQ Sticky would be AMAZING especially if it was linked to threads like Yoshi's

I think 80% of all the threads would be answered if the faq covered:

- model specs/dfferences between different trim levels and what year certain models came in.. what options they had both standard and optional (both engine, wheel, etc and things like door speaker size)..engine/chassis codes and other stuff in the owners and product brochure along w/ in depth info...

- maintanance/repair procedures (like oil change, tranny, brake pads/rotors, valve adjust, brake bleed, master cyl, clutch, how to pull ECU/CE codes and what they stand for, etc) to get people through the required maintenances

- parts installs (like springs/shocks, exhaust, header, car audio installs, strut bar, turbo, parts selection, VAFC, camber kits, etc).. either for replacement or those who want to upgrade...

- where to buy parts for good prices/good customer service/what parts to buy (both online and locally).. along w/ replacement parts for maintenance you also see a lot of threads askin for what to buy on spark plugs, wires, exhaust, strut bars, tires, etc... maybe there can be a parts poll or something on what parts people like/give good gains and have it fixed choices so people cant add things like "smoke weed all day" or whatever... so theres already polls on things like intake, header, exhaust, turbo, shift kits, brake pads, rotors, etc... so we don't have to see the same polls over and over again each week...

- common problems/known problems/common fixes.... (ignitor, slow/rattling windows, squeaky hatch, main relay, exhaust/header rattle, etc)

being at H-T for a couple months that would answer a lot of the threads... if you look at a lot of the recent and past threads.. the above topics have been asked over and over A LOT.. of course the search option could also have been used to answer most of the threads also...

you can break it down into maintenance.... then parts selection so people can decide when they do either maintenance/repair or upgrade, code retrieval/diagnostics.. parts selection/whether they want to go w/ OEM, aftermarket, upgrade or what, .. installs section on how to install the parts they bought.... maybe have a dyno link if members have dyno sheets on specific parts....

this is just off the top of my head ... gotta head out to dinner now Lolz.. maybe other ppl will have more ideas for your list

I think it's been said, but I'll say it again:

CLUTCH SYSTEM!!! Personally, I think it deserves its own section. This would include FW, clutch, disc, release bearing, hydraulics, etc...

There is so much junk thrown around here about clutches it drives me crazy...

 

I would also include commonly asked questions regarding "What Header should I buy?" I see that one all of the time. Something on ITR Sway Bar questions would help too. I know the search function is what you're supossed to use, but if it was all in one FAQ, it would be a lot easier.
I'll post more as I think of them.
