i bought a 88 crx si with no engine, its still got all the wiring harness for the eninge in it but i was told the 88 harness is different from the 89-91 harness. i want to put my sohc zc obd0 engine from my 91 sedan into this crx and just need to know if this harness will plug right in. i was told there was something different with a plug or two.

use the 88 engine harness - it is different from 89-91 - at the driver's side connection at the firewall, the 88 has a square 6 wire connector - the 89-91 engine harness has a round 8-wire connector - won't plug into 88 chassis harness

 

oh ok, so the different plug has nothing to do with any plugs that plug into the engine.. cool. thanks!
