Default ebay gaskets

anybody ever buy gaskets on ebay, their complete gasket sets are extremely cheap. Or should I not risk it and buy 'em from kragen.

well, kragen gaskets are not the greatest either... depends on how long u want it to last. is this a motor thats just there for a short while until u do a swap? if its going to be in there for a long time, then i would fork over the extra cash for the honda stuff personally.

No swap, I plan on building up my sohc zc for now. I'm fixing the other stuff first; suspension n stuff for now till I decide on whether or not I want a swap, I've seen sohc doing 12's so.. Anyways, Honda oem huh, I'm actually gonna get Napa or Carquest since that's what my mechanic uses. so yeah It's gonna be in their a while

sorta both, I do allot of the stuff, and my mechanics good. It's just a regular sohc zc non v-tec. I don't see how building a Honda is any different. But yea... I go to him for help when it gets to difficult and I don't have the tools
Oh, and he owns his own shop so he gives me good deals on parts, I'm getting my master gasket set, thermostat, and timing belt from Napa auto parts for 150.00 with install. I think that's pretty decent

the gaskets off ebay are pretty good quality. atleast as good as felpro.

the oil pan gasket doesnt have metal rings in it so its easy to over tighten.

i got one for my d15b2 and for my sohc vtec zc.

for me the bad part was the gaskets wernt labled so it was a bit confusing matching them up.

they'll be just fine. just spray your metal gaskets with permatex copper spray and those gaskets will last forever.

$150.00 for a complete engine reseal is a great deal. Just remember hookup or not you get what you pay for.

Most gaskets are ok not using Honda. However HeadGaskets and seals ALWAYS use Honda OEM. Oh yeah and hondabond will save your life always keep a tube handy.
