I had similar problems with my 95 accord ex. My problem was a little different though they may have the same solution. My tach and speedo were going crazy. They would jump up and down and in no particular order. Try these things first before you start spending money. Check your alternator and make sure the green plug is plugged in and the move the black boot back on the alternator and make sure that the bolt is still tight that holds on the black wire that runs into it. If these are good then you should take your car to advance and have them check your alternator to see if it is still good and then have them check your battery. With mine my battery was dying and was the cause of the problems. Also check the tension on your alt. belt. Hope this helped.
