Should I go to ITR Expo 8, or...
...go to GingerMan for Car and Driver?
I'm committed to instruct at VIR, but this is a unique opportunity...
(If I did both, then I'd have to bring the old red car to the Expo, rather than my ITR.)

You should probably commit to one or the other. You know if you come to Expo on Monday and we're all hanging out after tracking, drinking

It would be cool to have your car in a magazine but at the same time there is no way in hell I would let someone else thrash on my NSX. With that being said, ITR Expo

Thanks to all for the advice. As you know by now, I did both. to the ITR Expo organizers for adjusting my instructor responsibilities for the one-day option.
The C&D folks were fun, always nice to get together with folks who are knowledgeable about cars. The comparo article won't appear in print for a while, maybe in the December issue. They may have something on CarandDriver.com before then, though. They already posted a clip on YouTube. (I'm famous! )

Yeah, those of us who met by the GW Bridge started out having breakfast together, so we already had some intros. Once you guys joined up with us, it wasn't as formal. Especially since when we met up at the gas station it was so frickin' hot, I just parked and hung out in the shade. for the intro!
