EF si tranny code/vin

EF si tranny code/vin
how can i tell if my tranny is the si and not the dx etc? I know the is a stamp by the fill hole but what is it supposed to be? and how can i identify it by the vin tag in the front?
ive searched the archives and couldnt get a straight answer out of the info.
