want to go turbo
Hi I was wondering if anybody out here can help me,Im new to the whole turbo thing and was wondering if anybody can help with... a sort of checklist on what I need.I have a single cam zc non v tech and wanted to go turbo,is it worth it or just save keep saving for a swap? Thanx
swap/turbo your gonna get bias opinions... Best bet is to:
1. Search the forums
2. Read
3. Read
4. Search some more
5. And please comprehend what you read
Then after you know more info and have a better idea on what you want to do and what kinda goals you have come back and post with what you have learned and get pointed in the right direction. Not trying to be a dick but its alot easier to help ppl when they have a understanding and more information on what they want to accomplish.

i concur. that's what i've been doing for a little while now and i honestly get a lil joy out of figuring out stuff with my own research rather than having people tell me what to do.
yea just read alittle every day or what i do is make a sunday out of learning it may sound like a loser thing to do but i like learning about hondas there pretty simple after a couple years.
good luck

Your best bet right now is to read and do some research on your own, just like everyone else said. We're not trying to be f*cked up or provide you with no information at all, the problem is, if you have no clue as to what we're advising you, then there's no point in attempting to start a project like this. You have to familiarize your self with basic knowledge of how force induction works and what is required. From there, you can set a goal and determine whether you're current engine will support your needs or a swap will be a better choice for you in the long run. Whats your budget? Are you going to go with a bolt-on kit or build your own? What kind of horse power are you looking for? Street or strip? Engine management? You have to ask you're self all of these questions before you attempt to jump on the band-wagon. It's really not that hard to go FI but if you don't have a clue as to what the hell you're doing...well then, you my friend must have tons of mula to burn! There's tons of forums on here, they are mostly related to Honda's such as your vehicle.
