im looking forward to buying a 5th gen prelude but i want the top of the line wich means hp-tq-handling-leather interior and body look...from 97-01, did the prelude change its body style a bit

Base & SH are your only options and they both have the same power. The SH handles better, that's about it aside from little details. No change from 97-01.

I'd go with the Base model over the SH, more stuff to go wrong on the SH
but to each his own.

Your only options are the Base and the SH. 1997-99 Preludes are 195 hp and the 2000-2001 have 200 hp. The SH is heavier than the Base, but it handles better due to the ATTS system. If you are planning on modding the SH, after a certain hp the ATTS system does not work, so you'd be carrying dead weight. All in all...go with the Base!!
