Default At Wits End

OK.......i have a Turbo b16a1 that was OBD0

and it had some wired wiring harness on it, that had to square plugs

(1x green resistor box plug and 1x square dizzy plug)

Both plugs had 6 wires.

But my wiring harness on my 91 SI hatchback was

(1x green resistor box plug and 1x ROUND dizzy plug)

the resistor was still 6 wires but the round plug was 8!

after all this messing with it, i tried a 1.6 OBD0 SI motor harness....still no luck

motor would run but would not get past 3,000 rpm.

SOOOO, i upgraded the whole under dash and motor harness to OBD1
(ECU was already OBD1, was using a jumper.)

After all this, got the motor to start but only for a few seconds...after that it died!

the motor has Spark,Gas,and Air, all sensors are wired right, all plugs are wired right........

I Just can't understand whats not working here

Also The timing is right, replaced fuel, oil filter, Spark plugs and wires.

and replaced distributor.

I even check to see if it was the injectors since i went from obd0 to obd1

because of the missing resistor box that obd1 does not have

i put stock obd1 injectors on it, and still nothing.

I'm at wits end with this motor, if i can't get it to run, im junking for scrap metal!

What ecu do you have? Plus more info:
1. obd0 distro or obd1
2. Did you replace to whole harness?
3. what is managing the turbo

the distributor was OBD1 to OBD0 back to OBD1 again

and just to make sure it wasn't that i took the disturber off my GSR and used that

still no luck

by the turbo, i mean the motor is turbo charged with a garret turbo

and i can't get the ECU code because the sticker pealed off, but its the ECU that was

working with the motor, i bought the motor from another car club member, and it was

working just fine when we pulled the motor out.

And yes i replaced the WHOLE motor harness, and rewired what plugs where not on

the newer harness

nothing

Harness was upgraded to ODB1, so the Cluster does not plug in.

cant see the CEL.

but im thinking it was a wiring problem

so im gunna get a new b16 OBD1 engine harness
since the one on there know was a OBD0 to 1 converstion
