i recently purchased a seibon (spoon replica) spoiler and installed on my 93 hatch.
the question i have is, isn't the spoiler suppose to sit flush with the roof of the car.
mine sits slightly higher than the roof. it is rounded and even all the way across from one end to the other, but i thought it would sit flush like the oem one.

also, isn't Seibon suppose to have a tag saying seibon on it? i seen on my buddy's hood, but my spoiler doesn't have one. it came in a seibon box with seibon wrapping.

don't flame me, this is my first carbon fiber part, my build is slow.

@ OP:
I don't know much about that specific one - but I'd have to say "yes - it is supposed to sit flush" - but that's just what I think based on how you're describing it, I don't know if that's accurate or not . Just doesn't make sense to have it separated, y'kno?

 

My Seibon CF hood does not have marking at all on it. I picked it up at an Authorized Dealer and had the Seibon wrapping all over it. Other then asking on H-T, I'd just take pictures and send it to them and see what they say.
