ok well got a friend who really wants my R.. im thinking around $11.5k NZD? i dont know if its too cheap.. ITR are pretty easy to get here could easily get a 98 spec for not much more but would be near stock maby 15k for 98-00 model JDM version ofcourse..
heres my R for those who dont know it.. its hard for you to suggest a price as the market is totally different here, a stock 96 R with 130km usually around 10,000k NZD, stock 98 R around 14-15k, spec list is proper on this car no expense spared, maby i should enjoy it more, kms are up to 180km which is reasonably high for NZ, most R that you buy now from a dealer are around 130km.. would consider a rebuild shortly if i keep it, probably 220km?? i dont know its running mint, no oil use..

but i was thinking of goin up to the JDM DC5R with brembos etc for around $20k NZD or my mates EP3R for the same price, UK built obviously without brembos but half a mugen an js racing catalogue, full carbon parts bonnet, wing, mirrors, mugen front, intake, Advan RG gold 17s 5zigen exhaust, js sump, braces, engine damper you name it..
-Keep it?
-Sell an get newer 98 spec?
-DC5R old mans soft ride?? but nice an new with improved technology, (quite cheap/bang for buck)??
-EP3 awesome built with nice parts, but looks more like a minivan/bus (still like it)??

unless you spend a lot of money modifying it you will be bored.
and then after that you'll still wish you kept your DC2 or got a different DC2.
both very much meant to be easier to live with at the cost of fun.
EP3R is "alright", DC5R is nicer but still.... neither of them are a replacement for the DC2R IMO.

I still cant decide. I would have to drive the DC5 and see how it feels compared to a DC2. B2finity's really shows how nice they can look, but dont how know they drive unless I drove one.

I say keep yours man, while Ryan is right Dennis made the DC5R one of the baddest FF cars I've ever seen, but that's $20,000 on top of the purchase of the car.
Your car is super nice and unique as hell. you built a good R, keep her.

consider the lifespan of the DC2: 1995-2001 (in Japan)
and the lifespan of the DC5: 2002-2005
why? because the DC2 wasn't too popular. The DC5 killed the Integra IMO, so I have a deep prejudice towards it. Do yourself a favor. Keep the DC2, its a classic, destined to become one of the best race ready cars ever made.
