i have a cold start problem and i cannot find the solution. i have a 93 hatch d16y8 and it only has a cold startproblem i have to crank and crank and give some gas to get it to start but it backfires thru the intake when im tryna start it and finally it will start and then die and a coulple more times and it satrts and runs fine i dont know what it could be but will start right up if i turn it off and back on please any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

also its throwin the coolant temp sensor CEL . ive tried to fix but will not go away. i changed the sensor out of the housing and the thermostat but still throws code. car strill warms up fine and fan cuts on when needed jus thought i would throw that out there and ideas.
