Default The ricer in me has come out again :P *UPDATE - DONE*

Update ---------------------
Finished both wheels. Turned out like ****. The chrome spray was so thin and ran like [freak]ing ***** so I had to respray the black gloss because it got all over it. I'll have to slowly work on them. Lightly sand after a few days once it's fully dried and get the chrome that ran in streaks and ****.

Here they are:

Wheel 1:

Wheel 2:

Yup . I painted the valve stem too. Seeing how I don't want to waste money taking the tire, weights, and valve stem off, I just figured I'd do it as is. I don't have any spare wheels and I wanted to do it quick just to see what it would look like so I just did it. I've done 2 wheels now (both need a few more coats) and it took me 30 minutes including taping, prepping /w index cards & newspaper, and taking my wheels off.

Besides, if I end up keeping the steelies the way they are heading now, I can just take my sweet *** time and sand it off the lip and valve stem.

Thanks haha. Yeah I plan on slapping the hubbies on if it looks terrabad.

I'm just working with what I have *shrug*. No money for rims so why not paint steelies.

Yeah ideally, I REALLY wanted to get the 7th gen steelies for the bigger wheel but no money . So I just stuck with my 14" ones and went from there. I might put these on just to see what they look like and put my rando spares back on. I don't want to drive with them yet.

Does anyone think I should do a clear coat on the entire thing? The chrome has been drying for about 8 hours now and when I lightly rub it, a tiny bit of the chrome comes off onto my fingers...
