Default 89 Crx Hf trying to put a d16Y8 Swap In Need some help

I havent been around honda in a couple years now, I deside I missed my old crx way to much so I deside to build another one.I kinda stumbled upon this crx an with all the extras the car already had I had to get it.I am going to try to do a d16y8 swap into a 1989 crx HF ( for now till I can get a better motor), need some help on what I might need (parts, wireing, dizzy) or any tips to get this thing going.I plan on running a obd1 p28 ecu, an running the crx cable transmission (already had a lsd installed).

I have used the search bar didnt find to much about the Y8 motor into a crx.

Question:

1. Which wireing harness should I use? stock crx or the Y8 harness

2. Going from obd2 to obd1 in a Obd0 car ( boomslang or rewire harness to convert ?)

3.Wireing the Vtec if I have to use the stock crx harness

4. Which dizzy should I run?

couple photos ( Everyone loves photos)

First you will need to start off with the hf harness, almost identical to the si harness if not the same. you will need to use this harness and modify it so that all the connectors/sensors are plugged in. Next for the jumper harness you can use a couple decent names out there, I have heard of the two you want to use but I wen with xenocrons OBD-0 to OBD-1 Ecu jumper harness. This plugs in inbetween the ecu and the chassis interior harness. The harness you will want to purchase in the OBD-0 to OBD-1 with a VTEC sub harness which allows you to wire vtec and the Oxygen sensor. For the distributor you will have to use the stock Y8 distributor due to the Z6 one not lining up with all 3 ears. So you will need to wire in that distributor at the harness or you may be able to run a stock 88-91 D16A6 distributor I have heard they fit but i do not know if that will make you run a check engine like. I have never done this swap with a single cam all this info is from what I have learned from friends swaps and doing b-series myself in the EF chassis. If you have any other Questions post em up

I hope you also know that you will need to run the cable transmission for this setup if you already didnt know. not hard just bolt the stock trans up to the y8 block with the right clutch/flywheel setup and ROCK AND ROLL

update d16y8 is in the crx now, Now I have to make a modify the harness to make is work..

Does anyone make a custom made harness were i can just plug everything in with no cutting??

If not does any have wireing diagrams from a crx an a obd2 civic i might just have to make it myself?
