Default alright, what gives! (clutch problem)

So my clutch came in today and i was pretty excited to say the least. unfortunately it went downhill from there. i soon realized the clutch disc splines did not match up with the splines on the transmission.

Now I bought the clutch kit off ebay and it said it was for 90-91 integras. application includes: b18 dohc, rs, gs, and ls) or any jdm b16a1 with j1, s1, or y1 cable transmissions. the trans i ended up getting was actually a 93 not a 91 like i thought. However if memory serves me right the 90-93 transmissions are all the same right, or are they??

i'm really hoping thats the case and they just sent me the wrong clutch cause if not im probably screwed. And if 90-93's are indeed all the same what the heck clutch do i have. only thing i can figure is maybe they sent me a clutch for a Vtec b series engine, are the splines diff on those? gahh someone please fill me in , i'm really hopin its there mess up and not mine

edit: I just checked both listings from the seller and they both have this identical info Brand New heavy-duty Clutch Disc (220mm, 24 spline)

and heres the listings

90-91

Default Re: alright, what gives! (D16SiHatch)

so i decided i'd go count the splines today. the clutch alignment tool for the clutch disc has 24 splines, therefore the clutch disc has 24 splines. I then counted the transmission output shaft splines, checked, and rechecked, and it to has 24 splines! so whats going on here. the alignment tool easily goes into the clutch disc but no matter what i do the clutch disc will not slide onto the input shaft. its almost as of the shaft is too big for the clutch disc.

I'm still so confused as to whats goin on here. i need to let the guy know if i received the wrong item but now im not sure if it is wrong. im starting to doubt the transmission i have. the guy who sold it to me said it was from a 93 teg, it is a cable driven clutch, and part of the stickers missing but i can read S1 on it.

Does anyone know what the devils goin on here? i need to get this taken care

Well i think i've figured it out. Went lookin around online to find more specific descriptions of clutches for those years and found a difference between 90-91, and 92-93.

90-91

Kit #: 08-017
