Default 1.4 dual carb

Is this a good engine cause apparently haynes never made a car manual for it. ( haynes is what we have in england) Anyway i assume its very reliable seeing as its honda, but im not really sure about doing any work myself on it becasue there is no manual as a guide. So can you get a manual for and do you know where i can pick one up.

and can i get a copy of a handbook that came with the car when it was new cause i rang my garage and they said the car was too old and they did not print them any more

What year/model is this? There have to be some sort of shop manuals for whatever it is, although Haynes are a fairly poor choice. You'll be much better off with a Helms manual.
