d16zc opinions
ok guys i figured id get some opinions on what I should do...alright..i have a 90 dx hatch that is my DD but plan on putting a decent amount of cash into it so far the plans are getting the typical body cancer fixed, carbon fiber hood, decent wheels and tires....pretty good suspension...looking at tokico shocks/springs, new lca's swap bars and bushings....probobly rear disc conversion.....those are just some of the plans to give you an idea of what im looking to do...but aannyway.....ok as for under the hood im thinking d16zc mayb or d16y8.....but im getting conflicting reports...is the zc a dohc? or sohc? and any opinions on what i should go with? like are there more limited parts for the zc? or is it more expensive or harder to find?
after i get the engine i pretty much just plan on doin mayb cam, vavle springs, header.....i already have a buddy club spec 2 on...and a few other things
o ya and could mayb get boosted a little bit down the road

There are a number of ZC's.....
zc sohc non vtec = same as A6
zc sohc vtec = same as Z6
zc dohc non vtec = world of its own
Thats the basic rundown.......and they can all bolt right up to your existing trans and engine mounts etc.......just little wiring changes for the vtec or the distributer on the dohc or if you go 0BD1
