i like the look of straight through mufflers, like apexi N1, greddy evo etc, but i dont want my car to be that loud...so if i used a loud muffler, could i put in a resonator to quiet it down or do i have to use a silencer? or does anyone have other ideas on what i could do??? thx

I have 22 inch magnaflow resonator and muffler, and its super quiet and sounds good and deep, nothing ricey

 

yeah i have a really old greddy power extreme cat-back, so the piping is OK, but the muffler is breaking apart on the inside and sounds like ****. just want to confirm that a resonator will quiet down any muffler i choose.....i work at midas so i will be welding it myself...thx
