FBP 00-1428 Salvage Auction in Texas
This was my Type R - stolen on Jan 23rd. Shout out to ITR peeps looking for a Type R with good bones.
Engine and exterior are in great shape. Missing steering column/ignition, and interior wiring needs to be sorted. Although I have no idea what, if anything else, has happened while waiting for auction....

The caR was never taken, just broken into and damaged at the OPs job. He just decided not to be bothered with going through repairs and all. This would be an awesome pickup

Real close.
The insurance company decided it was totaled. Yeah, the pics don't look that bad, but they were completely incompetent in dealing with the claim. Took way too long to make an initial decision, didn't investigate till the three weeks after, lowballed first offer, ignored faxes from autotrader comparables, were not responsive to phone calls, etc. Big
to USAA.
Biggest reason I let it go, was that if I argued with them to fix it, I felt I couldn't drive it safely the measly 3 miles a day I used for - driving to work. We drive my wife's car all weekend with the 3 year old. Makes no sense in my life right now to get a DD and have two cars I barely drive
Oh, and the thief knows where I work now. So he would probably come back to finish the job.
No thank you!
My only regret is not buying it back from USAA to recoup some of the value lost in settling with them. And then selling it back to you guys for a big profit.
It is a great opportunity for someone out there in the market though....

that price is outrageous for an R title,... granted we all know what happened to it, but it still has the R-title
