ok i swapped an ls into my crx, and now the speedo doesnt work, i have the ls speedo cable, idk what is wrong, the speedo cable works ive checked 2 of them, but everthing worked fine befor the swap. has this happend to anyone. it has no physical damage on the outside so i dont think its been dropped, ik i havent. i took the plastic cover off the front, the clear sheild, and they seem to work be ok, the speedo did work for the first couple of minites i had the car out when we got it running, no check engine lights or anything like that, however one of the backlights isnt working and all of them were working befor the swap. so idk whats up, if anyone has any helpfull input feel free. should i just get a new cluster?

 

Sounds like the vss on the trans is bad. Why not use the stock speedo cable?

 

^^^ yea there is no need to use the ls one, but if half the cluster lights when out and the speedo isnt working than make sure u have the right side plugged in all the way. also trying hitting it when the car is running, sometimes mine stops working, but if i hit the top of teh cluster it works fine, so it could just be a loose ground or something.

oh and i dont think its the vss cause i had the car up on blocks and i gave it some gas and your can see the little piece inside the speedo cable spinning, and it seems to spin faster when ya get on the gas like it should
