I found this review while on tirerack.com, the link: http://www.tirerack.com/survey/Surve...ireModel=A022A
: Yokohama A022A - 1998 Acura Integra R - Corvallis, OR
Driving Style: Fast and Aggressive - Driving Condition: Combined Highway/City
Reviewer's Overall Ratings: 7.38 out of 10 - Review Submitted 2001-08-15
The Yokohama A022's replaced the OE Bridgestone RE010's, but are the same size. The A022's were much less expensive ($130/tire compared to $190/tire) than the Bridgestones when I purchased them, but I was worried about losing some of the excellent dry traction. The Yoko's have performed well, especially in the wet, but the dry grip is slightly down. I got ~15,000 miles out of the OE tires, and I think the Yoko's will last between 15 and 20k, which is fine for me. Besides the lower dry grip, I think my Type R understeers more with the new tires, but the wet grip is great for here in Oregon. Overall I have been satisfied with the purchase. I paid less and I got less. Next time I will take a hard look at the RE010's and see if I want to cough up the dough.
