k20 swap good or bad

Default k20 swap good or bad

should i swap my h22vtec to a k20 on my 93 prelude or i should put that money towards rebuilding the h22 and tweeking it out

Do it now!!! you'll be among the few and the proud. i say go for it and let us know how it turns out. but still build the h22 as a "just in case".

k24 you need that good torque for the heave chassis

Is your car an original 93 VTEC? If so, it would be sacrilege to defile such a classic with anything other than the original engine.

my goals are domination! i have already took off all the junk out of the car that i dont need like that useless back seat cruz control a/c any thing that i thought i diddnt need if i put that k20 it has to go in with a turbo cuzz the car is still a lil heavy.

it was a 93 si with a h23 but i convertedit to a jdm h22 vtec and put the stock h23 in my friends eg he then frankenstined it to a h23 with a h22 head vtec

my car tech is a honda geneus and has done all my work with me and all my other buddies in the car club like crx k20,eg b18,eg h22, ect.. almost all my buddies got a swap

Well, good luck to you, but it sounds like you're still in high school.

A K is not as easy or cheap as any H22 swap. It is a better engine in many ways though, and I hope you actually do it.

good luck. and just for your information, if being able to swap a civic would make people geniuses, half the people on honda-tech are geniuses. here's the difference between the civic swaps and the K-lude swap. the civic ones have been done and "swap kits" have been made available.. the K-lude one is still in development IIRC and hasn't been done before. (for 4th gens)
