Alright guys im in a dilemma here. I was wondering if if you think these Recaro's are fake or not? This guy claims them to be Recaro Sport "Topline" Version 2 prototype's but when i saw the seats they had no sticker of authenticity or even a stamp that said Recaro on it. All it had was the Recaro stitched on the head rest.


Soo tell me are they REAL or FAKE???

I have no idea how to tell for sure, but they look really nice. Usually fake stuff is mass produced, and those definitely aren't like any fakes I've seen before...

 

Have you seen the seats in person? And are those the only photos you have?

Does the seat heat and have electrical recline?

Never heard of a "Version 2" and not sure how he would obtain a prototype...

What kind of deal are you getting on these?

If you have to question, I would PASS

They look like Evo seats, as was said before.

they are not evo 8 or 9 seats i have both but they may be from a pass model like posted above

 

they are probably from an evo not made in the US

And there supposed to be the newer version of the EVO 8/9 seat...

Btw if these are less than 800 or so, (a LOT less) then theyre probably fake.

 

If its a good price, fake or not, buy them. Why not?

sorry im not down to roll on fake seats...

 

Those in particular arent very popular - so I would doubt anyone makes a fake version for them.

GTI's also had a recaro that very similar, with a different color scheme however.

 

Those look like the Saturn ION's Recaro
I own a evo IX and those does not even look like it's from any of the evo's.

 

Those are not evo 8 or evo 9 seats

Similar shape/model, but not the same seat at all

 

The first pic used was one i took when i was selling my set. They are real deal, I think i ended up selling my set for around $800, since they aren't a very popular color combination.

 

what car did they come out of?

I say fake, the only type ive seen with a color combo even close to that was the evo 9, and those are not from an evo 9
