Call Jordan at Consumate Tuning. He's a really great guy to talk to and from what i hear, he does great work. I'm tuning with him in the early summer

beat me to it. Where exactly in Wisconsin are you located though? If closer to MN border than I would stick with Consumate Tuning.

I've gone to Shane at DB 3 times now so i can have a little say about him. My first tune from him was awesome, but the two following tunes (on different setups) were less than ideal. Also, i like to talk with my tuner and know what he's doing. Shane isn't exactly what i'd call a "people person" which is why i like talking to Jordan (Consumate Tuning) on the phone. If i have problems, i get an answer and a confident one at that. It may be a stupid thing to base my decision on, but i'm doing it.

I can agree with you on this. I had gone to shane 3 times myself too. Even though he is good at what he is doing, he doesn't really seem to be a people person.

King Motorsports in Wisconsin

$550 flat rate for a turbo car...seemed very knowledgeable when I talked to him and like talked about above, they are very friendly people. When I called I talked to the tuner for over an hour about tons of different things reguarding tuning and my car.

You really should just give Jordan a call and he'll walk you through it.

Tell him boostincoupe from Honda-Tech sent you, seriously.

i told him everyone said good things about him. i got royal treatment until he couldn't get my car to idle. Tried to blame my car, then the royal treatment ended there, literally. but he got my money and lost my trust. I even paid for dyno time at MAP to get it straight.

Took it to shane, and now it idles like stock and runs mint. No changes to my motor.... go figure that one out?

I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But if someone is going to take your money and not give you a usable product, you will be pretty pissed off too. I really wish things would have went well cause he really is a nice guy (while things are going good).

It's kind of like this, if you are going to have your $4k motor built, who are you going to have build it? A guy that comes around and builds motors on the side? or someone that does it for a living and holds themselves accountable for their services?

Remember, this is my experience. I'm sure many of you have had good experience with him and by all means, keep using him. But for me, not my cup of tea.

Yes, I was. Car runs great. I'm going back there in 2 weeks to get my gas tune done. My first tune was on E85.

A guy paying rent on a building doesn't make him any better at building motors.

False. It just means he pays rent on the building. That doesn't mean he knows more than anybody. Building or not.

whatever stealth....i'm not going to argue with you on this. if you have good experience with him, then keep using him. I'm just another consumer stating my experience.
