My B20A5 Engine Detail: Before&After
The 1991 4WS I recently picked up was insanely dirty -- everywhere. I'm a perfectionist and an obsessive-compulsive detailer ,so there was no way I could stand to leave it looking anything less than showroom clean.
Here's the process I took to bring my B20a5 back where it belongs.
- High pressure washed the entire engine bay, being careful not to direct the spray at any electrical components
- (Back at home) Wiped down everything within reach by hand, with a rag and a diluted car wash concentrate
- Wiped down everything with a dry towel
- Took a toothbrush and some glass cleaner to the hard-to-reach crevices
- Waxed every square inch of paint I could get my hands on with Meguiar's wax.
- Hand-buffed everything with a basic towel
All in all, probably 3hours of work, over the course of several days. But I think you'll agree, the results are worth it.
i did take this paragraph from tysons B21a1 detail thread so props to you tyson http://www.preludepower.com/fo...79298
but in about a month i will have the same car
Before:

please note i did not get it as clean as i wanted to. It is suppossed to snow 10inches tonight . So i will be redoing it in a couple of months.
after:

also did the door jams and trunk jams too!

just one picture of these.
i think everybody should to this to there car. paint is so smooth now and shiny. I believe everyone like shiny ludes here. so go out and do this to your car tonight!
any questions just ask
