4th gen turn signal question
Hey,
Got my car finally running now time to tackle why my turn signals dont work. My 4 ways work fine and verified they do blink. When I use my turn signals I get nothing at the dash - not even blinking arrows. I am guessing bulbs are good if the 4 ways still work and I tested the stalk (I think properly - jumping the harness) and still get nothing. I was looking at the wiring diagram for the flasher relay and cant figure out if the hazards and turn signals work on same circuit. Could it still possibly be a flasher relay or maybe I need to look further. I did not notice fuses for turn signals, just hazards. Any help appreciated thanks!
PS: will post pics soon now that I can walk

Ok I am lost
My turn signals dont work, hazards do work, no burnt bulbs, and I think the flasher is ok. I removed the combination switch and, using a wire, jumped the pins from green/red to green/yel on the harness and my turn signal works (did the same for the other side). Bulbs do work for both rear and front turn signals - verified this visually. I went out and bought a new combination switch thinking this was the only logical thing left. I plugged in the new switch and still did not work. I thought maybe they gave me a bad switch so returned it, got a new switch, and same thing. I even swapped a working switch from my friends car into mine with same result. Is there something I am missing? I am just not sure what else it could possibly be.

Yea I know. I just dont think its a break anywhere in the wires otherwise the turn signals wouldnt work when I jump them at the harness. I wonder if the pins in the plug arent making a connection to the combo switch. I'd check right now but I am work
It doesnt help the fact its raining and cold out.

Yeah, that would be a good thing to check. Those pins can get corroded or even get pulled out or have junk stuck down in there...
Looked at the wiring diagram, I dont see anything else it could be. It is almost like the switch isnt bridging the power. I tried tightening the pins, still nothing. Even took the hazard switch apart. When I turn hazards on I put a test light to the back of the right turn signal switch on the harness...it gets power; however when I try to turn on the turn signal with stalk....no power. Unless I am missing a ground somewhere that I dont see that connects to the switch.
