Default some work stuff

i work for a chimney company. from time to time we get some interesting work. this is my latest. only part of the job that sucked was the building had no elevator.
so the bottom transiting chase. had to be pulled up the 6 floor building. all 250lbs of it.

everything is 12 gauge stainless, and was welded on site.
the old stack was 35 ft high and had 3 ft holes in it. that was fun to take down
cut the old cables and she fell right down. no pics though .

we pulled it up the side of the building. then if you can see behind the stack theres a wall. the roof slanted up to that wall, so we put the it on the wall and slid it over to the chimney. the bottom piece was a tight fit around the brick. then we setup 30 feet of freestanding scaffolding. and fit the sections together.
took three days, but it was fun, except pulling that beast up the building. wasent really that bad with a few guys till it got to the edge of the roof. i almost blew out a nut from that point on.
