Roaming Idle question....SEARCHED
OK, Ive done everything I could do to fix my roaming idle problem, Ive cleaned everything I need to clean, have no vaccum leaks and it came to me yesterday at the light listening to the idle. I have a converted P28 ECU for my swaped D16. When I bought the ECU the guy chipped it with CROME for my turbo. I recently had to take off the turbo so it can be rebuilt, didnt swap in the old (non-vtec) ecu. I was wondering that since Im still running the P28 ecu (non-tuned) for the vtec and turbo, could that be causing the roaming idle since the ecu is giving the car more gas then it needs, as if the turbo was still on? If i recall it didnt start the idle problem til I swaped in the new engine and ecu. Any thoughts?
