sorry I'm a noob.....please don't flame.......how do I check my tranny fluid level........where is the cap where i stick my finger in to check the level?

 

Put your car on stands, and lay down and slide in from the front. On the passenger side, look for where the axle goes into the tranny. Right by there you will see a plug, that is the tranny fluid plug. Stick your finger in and see where your at. Ryan

 

 

Your finger?????/----peoples fingers are different lengths, and at what point on your finger is it "full"?

 

I don't think there's a real standard way to check the tranny fluid. The fluid should be right at the fill hole on the verge of spilling out. When filling you basically just pour in the fluid until it starts to spill.

 

exactly right. Make sure the car isnt jacked up from the front when filling, otherwise you will underfill.
