Recently bought a 2000 accord EX, had it thoroughly checked out, only 31000 miles, all service records. Only thing that needed to be done was to replace the interior air filter (?). Occasionally as I am driving (both freeway & surface streets) I hear a funny bell & warning noise, no warning or idiot lights, nothing listed in the owner's manual. One time it seemed to come from near the driver's air bag, next time it came from the passenger side. Anyone knows what it is?

 

By any chance did you have something on the passenger seat?

 

does it go, beep beep beep....beep beep beep...beep beep beep or beep......beep......beep? like when you have the key in the ign. and the door open? or when you start the car and it beeps at you to put your seat belt on.
