I'm getting crappy gas mileage now and the car has 220k on it and I think i need a new O2 sensor the other part have been changed recently, like plugs, filter, oil?? no idea what else it could be?


Where can i buy a o2 sensor that does not cost 400 dollars?

 

if u dont have a CEL, it might not be o2 sensor. u need a tune up. such as oil change. tranny fluid change. spark plugs and wires.dizzy cap and rotor. fuel fitler,alir filter. for new o2 sensor. http://www.ngk.com

changed cap and rotor. it looked corroded in the cap and i will let you know what it goes back up to. i was a 38-42mpg and it dropped to 28 mpg. so something was up.

 

bumped it up to 34mpg half way through tank on second tank, will let you know soon.

 

well second tank ended at 29mpg?? on third now..

all i changed out was cap and rotor.
i'm going to change fuel filter soon and plugs/wires
