temp gage problem with b16A! HELP
Hi guys, I just swaped a b16A and it works fine but my temperature gage is acting weird. It goes up to normal temperature (less than half) and it stays that way for a while and then it goes to H instantly......
It did it twice and my fan didnt even turned on so my guess is that the car is not overheating and there is something wrong with the gage or gage sensor.
Have anyone had this problem before?

Maybe there was alot of air in the system?

I'm 99% sure you have a bad connection with the temp. sending unit. I have had the same problem before and this was the problem. the little boot around the wire at the connector of the sending unit will push the wire off slightly causing this.
I just trimmed the boot shorter to fix this and gave the connectors a good cleaning to solve this odd problem.
